Reds to go all out for Schalke wideman in January
Liverpool will go ‘big time’ to sign Schalke ace Leroy Sane, according to pundit and retired footballer Jan Aage Fjortoft.
Sane, 19, has sparkled for Schalke this season, scoring five goals in 15 appearances, and Arsenal have been strongly linked with his services.
But ex-Norway international and Sky Germany pundit Fjortoft says Liverpool are keen on a deal, with Jurgen Klopp set to go big to bring him to Anfield.
Fjortoft has previously broken transfers on his Twitter account and has earned a reputation as an insider.
Sane is one of the biggest talents in Europe and is seen as the future of the German national team, having scored three goals in three games for Germany Under-21s.
A left winger with pace and skill, Sane can also play as a striker or as an attacking midfielder.
