Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp is planning to meet with Robert Lewandowski’s agent to sound out a potential move for the player, according to reports.

Klopp’s arrival at Anfield has seen the Polish striker linked with a move to Merseyside, although the ex-Borussia Dortmund boss has suggested he won’t be moving for any of his former charges.

According to Fichajes, though, Klopp is planning to meet with Lewandowski’s agent Cezary Kucharsky to probe the possibility of bringing the striker to Anfield.

Given Lewandowski’s current form (he’s scored 21 goals in his last 13 games) and the fact that his current contract at Bayern Munich runs until 2019, Liverpool would need to table a monumental offer to get a deal moving.
