Liverpool are pushing to sign Denis Cheryshev with Real Madrid set to accept their £14.7million bid for the player, according to report

The Reds have been tracking Russian international Cheryshev for most of the summer so far, and reports over the weekend suggested a £14.7m bid had been made for his services.

And now it’s claimed the deal is on with Madrid happy to accept that amount to bring him to Anfield.

The flying winger, who is also interesting Arsenal, has been on fire in pre-season for Madrid but Rafa Benitez does not have a place for him in the Real team.

Liverpool have already made a host of signings this summer but are still looking for two or three more players.
