Joel Matip and Curtis Jones were involved in Liverpool's training session on Monday afternoon.
Injury caused Matip to miss the Reds' last three games, while Jones was absent for all four Premier League matches so far this season.
But the duo joined in as Jürgen Klopp's squad, fresh from their 9-0 thrashing of AFC Bournemouth, continued preparing for Wednesday night's clash with Newcastle United at Anfield.
