- Availability
Darwin Nunez
The forward has missed the Reds' last two games due to a toe injury sustained ahead of the trip to Leicester City, but returned to full training before the clash with Southampton.
Ibrahima Konate
Konate was affected by illness in the build-up to the final game of 2022-23 at St Mary's.
Andy Robertson
Robertson reported a groin issue during Liverpool's preparations for the trip to Southampton.
Jürgen Klopp on May 26: "He had a scan, that was fine but we anyway have to see how we can deal with that."
- Injuries
Naby Keita
Keita has been sidelined since picking up a muscle issue during the March international break.
Thiago Alcantara
The midfielder requires surgery on a hip issue, ruling him out for the remainder of the campaign. He is expected to be fit for pre-season, however.
Stefan Bajcetic
Bajcetic has been sidelined since March after requiring treatment for a stress response in the adductor area. The midfielder is currently on course to return ahead of 2023-24, though the Reds are taking a careful approach with his recovery.
Klopp on May 26: "I hope that he can come with us in the training camp and can do these bits and from then on progress. Then he should be fine for the start of the season, but it's how it is with these kind of injuries. There's no real timeline that you say after six weeks, or whatever, the ligament is healed and now from there we can go. We don't know that. You have to wait always for the next assessment and if you know that then you can go from there. But it's positive, I think at the end of the pre-season he will be hopefully a week or two already in full training and before that parts of training. So, that should be fine."
Calvin Ramsay
Ramsay will miss the remainder of the 2022-23 season after undergoing knee surgery.
Klopp on February 17: "Even if you could come back a bit earlier, that makes no sense because now it is really to build the boy up physically and then to have a new start and we go again."
- Suspensions
No Liverpool players are currently suspended.
