Liverpool Ladies manager Scott Rogers was today a special guest at Melwood training ground after being invited by Jürgen Klopp.

Rogers was joined at the West Derby base by assistant manager Phil Backhouse to watch the first team train as they prepare to face West Bromwich Albion at Anfield on Saturday.

The Ladies boss said: “It was fantastic to have been at Melwood to watch the first team training today with Jürgen.

“It is a massive help to have supportive people like Jürgen within the club available to tap into their wealth of knowledge and experience of the game.

“I’m sure that speaking to the likes of Jürgen can only help me to improve as a coach and I cannot thank him enough for taking time out of his preparations for Saturday’s game to discuss tactics with me and Phil.”
