Liverpool Ladies return to action on Saturday in a vital FA Women's Super League clash against Bristol Academy in Widnes at 5.30pm BST.

Matt Beard's side will be bidding to pull further away from the threat of a relegation battle as they take on a team who are currently bottom but are enjoying a revival in form since the mid-season break.

The matchday programme is the perfect souvenir for the game against the Vixens and will be on sale at the Select Security Stadium.

Inside, goalkeeper Danielle Gibbons discusses a difficult summer which has seen her undergo surgery to remove a brain tumour. She speaks candidly about the past few months and how her Liverpool Ladies team-mates have helped her through.

Elsewhere, midfielder Katie Zelem reveals her Firsts and Lasts, while World Cup stars Fara Williams and Asisat Oshoala battle it out in the latest round of our Masterminds quiz.

We also catch-up with ex-Reds midfielder Amanda Da Costa who provides an update on life with Washington Spirit and recalls her memories of the previous two home games against Bristol, which both ended with Liverpool Ladies lifting the FA WSL title.

And, as ever, you can hear from manager Beard and captain Gemma Bonner in their exclusive columns.

So make sure you pick up your copy of the programme, which is priced £2, at the game.
