Diogo Jota scored twice and registered an assist as Portugal beat Luxembourg 9-0 on Monday night.
The Liverpool forward, who completed the full 90 minutes of the Euro 2024 qualifier, grabbed two goals in a second half during which he also set up Ricardo Horta to net.
The comprehensive victory extends Portugal’s perfect winning record in Group J to six matches.
Elsewhere, two Reds were in U21 European Championship qualifying action.
Harvey Elliott started and finished England’s 3-0 away win over Luxembourg, while Ben Doak played 77 minutes as Scotland lost 1-0 to Spain, for whom Stefan Bajcetic was an unused substitute.
