Lucas off as Brazil crash out
Lucas Leiva was sent off as Brazil bowed out of the Copa America following a penalty shoot-out defeat to Paraguay in a tense quarter-final on Sunday night.
The Reds midfielder was given his marching orders alongside Antolin Alcaraz following a scuffle on 102 minutes.
It summed up a frustrating evening for the holders who wasted a number of gilt-edged chances throughout 120 minutes of a lively stalemate before missing all four of their spot-kicks to go down 2-0 on penalties.
