Luis Suarez and Dirk Kuyt were both on target during Uruguay's friendly with Holland on Wednesday night.

The match finished 1-1 after 90 minutes, and a penalty shootout was staged to determine the winner with Uruguay coming out on top.

Liverpool's No.7 earlier had a goal disallowed before he put his country 1-0 up with a right footed strike with nine minutes to go.

Suarez was replaced with two minutes left to a standing ovation, but Anfield teammate Kuyt pounced to net a stoppage time leveller with a near post header from a corner.

Suarez's side held their nerve to win 4-3 in the shootout and secure an overall 5-4 win.
