Luis Suarez admits an old wound will be reopened when he faces Dirk Kuyt's Holland on Wednesday night.

The Uruguay striker was suspended from playing against the Dutch in the World Cup semi-final last summer after being sent off for a handball against Ghana.

His country lost and the memory still irks.

"I have a thorn in my side still for not having played against the Netherlands, I hope to be able to remove it on Wednesday and to help Uruguay play a great match," said Suarez ahead of the friendly.

Meanwhile, Liverpool's No.7 thinks Uruguay, Brazil and Argentina will not be the only sides in contention for the Copa America title this summer.

He explained: "Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay are the historic favourites, but Chile and Paraguay, who played brilliantly in the World Cup qualifiers, will be dangerous rivals.

"I hope that the Copa America is a great tournament, and that Uruguay does really well."
