Academy striker Adam Morgan has revealed the favourite goal of his career so far.

The England U17 star netted 21 times in all competitions for the Reds in the 2010-11 season - but he has no doubt as to which one gave him the most satisfaction.

"It has to be Man United in the FA Youth Cup in front of the Kop," he told Liverpoolfc.tv.

"I can see it now. A great tackle by Conor (Coady) saw the ball fall for Suso who fed Adorjan. He rolled it through to Raheem (Sterling) and he played a pass through the defenders legs for me.

"As soon as it came to me I just thought goal. It has been my dream to score in front of the Kop and I was made up to slide on my knees in celebration.

"I had gone to bed dreaming about it in the lead up to the game and so to realise it was special. Seeing all those fans in a packed Kop celebrating it was brilliant too.

"It's probably the best I've ever scored in terms of what it meant to me and my family."

He added: "In terms of technique and finish my best of the season was the Huddersfield one where I've caught it on the half volley and it's smashed into the top corner off the outside of my foot."
