As the reserves prepare to end their league season with an Anfield clash tonight against Manchester United we continue our second-string interviews with Emmanuel Mendy.

The 21-year-old was born in Senegal, and arrived on a free from Murcia Deportivo in the summer of 2008.

He has been a regular member of the reserve team squad and here he tells us the highlight of his career so far, his pride at playing for Liverpool and which teammate spends the longest time in front of the mirror.

Best individual moment in a match?

That is still to come hopefully in the future but the best moment of my career so far has got to be when I got the chance to be a part of the first-team squad for the trip to Braga. It was a very special for me and my family. I have worked hard all season and it was just a fantastic experience. To train alongside someone like Jamie Carragher gave me a good feeling. He was a big help for me and made me feel very welcome.

Stadium you'd love to play in?

This is an easy answer for me. It has to be Anfield. I have been fortunate to already play there with the reserves but every time I get the chance to play at this famous stadium is very special. The fans are amazing.

Who do you model your game on?

Dani Alves of Barcelona. I like the way he attacks and he is very skilful.

Which other team's results do you look out for?

Barcelona. I like the way they play.

What are your main strengths?

I can play right-back, left-back and centre half. I have enjoyed playing at centre half this season and I think I'm good at heading the ball. I like to tackle and always give my best in every game.

Areas you can improve?

You are always learning as a footballer. I listen to the coaches and then try and do better in the next game.

Last album downloaded?

Lil Wayne's new one. It's very good.

Last film watched?

Fast and Furious 5. It's a great film, one of the best.

Best mate in the squad?

Gerardo Bruna, Suso and Nikola Saric.

Funniest teammate?

Suso. He is a really funny guy and makes everyone in the squad laugh.

Teammate who spends longest in the mirror?

This is easy. Suso.

Most skilful teammate?

Again, I would have to say Suso. He is a great player and he has a lot of tricks.

Best thing about playing for LFC?

Liverpool FC is famous throughout the world and it is a real honour to play for this club. It makes me and my family very proud.
