Dani Pacheco is celebrating today after netting his first goal for Norwich during the 5-1 thumping of fierce rivals Ipswich Town at Portman Road.

The Canaries kept up their push for automatic promotion to the Premier League with a convincing victory over Paul Jewell's men, which was sealed when Pacheco netted the final goal of the game - and his first for the club - four minutes into stoppage time.

The on-loan Liverpool star, who joined the action as an 84th minute substitute was quick to air his delight with the result on his personal twitter account.

"Great result tonight. Amazing atmosphere, love derbys! Our fans were amazing! Happy for my goal as well. 3 games left, come on boys!!

Norwich are second in the Championship, six points behind leaders QPR and two points clear of Cardiff, although they have played a game more. Only the top two are guaranteed promotion at the end of the season.

Norwich's next game is against Derby County at Carrow Road on Monday.

And Pacheco's final tweet of the night read: "what a great day. time to sleep now and rest for monday. thanks to everybody for the support today, fans been amazing. more of that monday!"
