Mohamed Salah's injury-time clincher against Manchester United has won Liverpool's Goal of the Month award for January.

The Egyptian wrapped up a 2-0 victory over the Reds' arch-rivals by slotting home in front of the Kop after a fine assist from goalkeeper Alisson Becker.

His calm finish earned the most votes in our Goal of the Month poll ahead of Curtis Jones' stunner over Everton in the third round of the FA Cup.

In third place was an acrobatic Harvey Elliott effort for the U23s at Wolverhampton Wanderers, while Roberto Firmino's winner at the same venue for a Premier League fixture claimed fourth spot.

The exquisite Layton Stewart goal that secured his hat-trick in a clash with Sunderland U18s at the Academy completed the top five.
