James Milner up for Champions League award
James Milner has been shortlisted for the Champions League Player of the Week award – and you can vote for him to win it.
The vice-captain produced an outstanding display to help Liverpool defeat Paris Saint-Germain 3-2 at Anfield on Tuesday night in the first round of group-stage fixtures.
Indeed, Milner converted a crucial penalty to put Jürgen Klopp’s side two goals ahead in the first half.
The 32-year-old faces competition from Barcelona’s Lionel Messi, Lyon forward Nabil Fekir and Paul Pogba of Manchester United.
