Can nominated for German Football Ambassador award
Emre Can has been nominated for the German Football Ambassador award – and fans can cast a vote for the Liverpool midfielder to win now.
The initiative honours German footballers who are playing abroad and transmitting a positive image of the country around the world.
Can is one of 11 players shortlisted for the award, with voting open until Monday April 25 and the winner to be announced on Wednesday May 11 in Berlin.
The accolade includes prize money that in the case of the Reds’ No.23 would be used to support a social project in the United Kingdom.
