Jones joins Blackpool on loan
Liverpool FC can today confirm that Academy defender Lloyd Jones has joined League One outfit Blackpool on a youth loan deal.
The defender, who arrived at Anfield from Plymouth Argyle in 2011, has been a regular in the club's U21 team in recent seasons.
Jones' progress earned him a place on the substitutes' bench for the senior side's trip to Fulham in May 2013, and he has represented England up to U20 level.
Last season, the centre-half enjoyed spells on loan at Cheltenham Town and Accrington Stanley, and will now look to continue his development under Neil McDonald.
