Liverpool will be without Daniel Sturridge, Mamadou Sakho and Lucas Leiva for Saturday's trip to West Bromwich Albion.

The trio will not feature at the Hawthorns as they continue to overcome injuries.

Sturridge (hip) and Sakho (hamstring) have been sidelined since the 1-0 win at Blackburn on April 8, while Lucas sustained a knock in training last week that kept him out of the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.

There is better news regarding Adam Lallana and Jon Flanagan, however.

Brendan Rodgers told his pre-match press conference: "Lallana has come back into training in the last few days. We'll see how he is for the weekend, but none of the others will be fit, I would have thought.

"Jon Flanagan is now training with the team. Obviously he's a way off fitness, but we just need to monitor his rehabilitation and we'll see how he is for the coming games."

Asked how long he expected to be without the services of Sturridge specifically, Rodgers replied: "We're unsure at this moment. He's certainly not available for the weekend."
