Merseyside Police have shared the following information ahead of Liverpool's Champions League clash against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu this Tuesday, November 4.

A team of Merseyside Police officers will be operationally deployed overseas for the Group B encounter, which is scheduled for a 7.45pm GMT kick-off in Madrid.

The officers are there at the invitation of the Spanish police and have no powers while deployed, with the primary function of the team to advise the local police service and gather and disseminate information.
