Phil Thompson will return to Anfield for a live #CarlsbergTalk Q&A session with fans next Friday and you now have the chance to earn yourself a spot in the audience with the former Liverpool captain.

During the past week, clues have been released via Twitter regarding the identity of the Reds-related figure to participate in the latest chat, before it was revealed earlier today that the 60-year-old is next up.

Across more than a decade with the club, 'Thommo' made 477 appearances and fully stocked his personal trophy cabinet with no fewer than seven First Division titles, an FA Cup, two UEFA Cups and three League Cups.

There was also the matter of three triumphs in the European Cup, with his last in 1981 also providing the Scouse defender with an opportunity to fulfil a dream and hoist aloft the trophy on Liverpool's behalf.

Thompson's ties with the club continued into the 21st century with an assistant manager role to Gerard Houllier, meaning there is rarely a shortage of fascinating questions for the no-nonsense player turned football pundit.

That should be the case again at 3pm GMT on Friday November 7, when 15 supporters and a friend each will be invited to the Reds' home ground to quiz the former centre-back for a special #CarlsbergTalk.

For the chance to be among that group and receive an answer in person at Anfield, email your chosen question along with your age, address and a contact telephone number to editorial@liverpoolfc.com before 11.59pm on Monday November 3.

A number of posers will also be pitched to Thompson from submissions on Twitter, so if you are unavailable to attend the live session, get involved by sending in your question via the hashtag #CarlsbergTalk.
