'The Official Story of Liverpool Football Club' is back by popular demand tonight and beginning a three-evening run at the Echo Arena in Liverpool – get your tickets now to see a Reds-centric show that truly captures the imagination.

Touching on the key landmarks of 122 years of history at Anfield - from Elisha Scott to Bill Shankly, European glory and the modern-day team under Brendan Rodgers - the play mixes music, comedy and more to tell an unrivalled tale.

Written by Nicky Allt, utilising crucial access to the club's archives, the production features an array of acting talent, including the likes of Mark Moraghan, Jake Abraham, Lindzi Germain and Lenny Wood.

'The Official Story of Liverpool Football Club' earned huge plaudits during a run at the Royal Court Liverpool in March of this year, prompting Allt to bring it back to Merseyside and later the Odyssey Arena in Belfast.

He commented: "It was always my intention to take 'The Official Story of Liverpool Football Club' to a bigger stage and audience and after the rave reviews it received in March, now is the right time.

"I've had such positive feedback from fans, as well as many people saying that they missed the chance to see it last time around. Hopefully we can pack out each night and make these the best runs yet."

The show will run at the Echo Arena's Echo Two venue for three consecutive evenings, beginning tonight, Thursday August 28, and also encompassing Friday August 29 and Saturday August 30 - all starting at 7.30pm BST.
