Brendan Rodgers was quick to pay tribute to the fantastic support Liverpool received during their tour of the USA.

The Reds ended their stay in America with a 3-1 defeat by Manchester United in the final of the Guinness International Champions Cup, but the boss admitted the adulation shown to him and his squad by the people of Boston, Chicago, New Jersey, New York, Charlotte and Miami will stay with the party for a long time.

"It's been incredible the support we have had in every city and I just want to say a big thank you for all the support," Rodgers told Liverpoolfc.com.
