Lovren to remain at Melwood
Brendan Rodgers has explained why Dejan Lovren will not be joining up with Liverpool on their pre-season tour of the United States.
The Croatia centre-back completed his move to Anfield on Sunday, but will remain at Melwood to get ready for the new campaign while his new teammates wrap up their America trip.
Rodgers told LFCTV: "Unfortunately he can't come out here because I don't think he has got his visa to travel out, so he is working back at Melwood with the staff and he will be ready to join us whenever we get back - so we are looking forward to that."
