Liverpool Ladies star Fara Williams equalled a proud international record when she helped England to a 2-1 win in Ukraine over the weekend.

The midfielder won her 129th cap, equalling the record of Rachel Yankey.

Williams was joined by Liverpool teammate Lucy Bronze in the starting XI while Natasha Dowie was an unused substitute.

England are now just one point away from next summer's World Cup and a draw in Wales in August will seal their ticket to Canada 2015.

Matt Beard's side return to Super League action after the break when they host Arsenal at the Select Security Stadium in Widnes next Sunday (June 29) at 12.15pm BST.

Liverpol are currently fourth in the Super League and just two points behind leaders Birmingham City, while the Gunners are bottom of the table and have yet to win in the league this season.
