The Liverpool FC Supporters' Committee is still recruiting for four fans to represent the following categories - but the closing date for applications is fast approaching.

1.    Non season ticket holders and members
2.    Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME)
3.    Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT)
4.    Official Supporters' Clubs

The Liverpool FC Supporters' Committee consists of 12 voluntary fan representatives and an honorary president.

Established in August 2011 as an initial forum, the committee helps LFC better understand the issues that most concern supporters, while giving the club an opportunity to consider the opinions and views of fans.

The committee meets at least four times a season in Liverpool with senior club officials to discuss issues and ask the questions that most affect the fans they represent. For more details, click here.

If you feel you could best represent one of the four categories above, then we would love to hear from you. This is your chance to give supporters a voice.

Application - the next steps

The panel members are Karen Gill, honorary president of the Liverpool FC Supporters' Committee, Andrew Parkinson, LFC operations director, and William Montgomery, independent panel member.

Profiles of those shortlisted candidates will be placed on the LFC website and supporters will have the opportunity to vote for the candidate of their choice in each of the categories.

The candidate polling the most votes will join the Liverpool FC Supporters' Committee as the fans' representative.
