What better way to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Liverpool's fourth European Cup triumph than by reliving the dramatic final against AS Roma in its entirety?

After previously clinching the League Cup and league championship in the 1983-84 campaign, Joe Fagan's Reds headed to Rome to face the Serie A outfit on their own soil.

Boasting Brazilian World Cup stars Falcao and Cerezo plus seasoned Italian superstar Bruno Conti, the home side were heavily fancied to lift 'Old Big Ears'.

However, Graeme Souness and co had other ideas, and when 'Barney Rubble', Alan Kennedy, slotted home the winning penalty in the shoot-out, Liverpool conquered Europe once again.
