Reds duo return to England squad
Liverpool duo Jordan Henderson and Glen Johnson have been handed recalls to the England squad for their upcoming international friendlies against Chile and Germany.
Johnson missed the Three Lions' crucial World Cup qualifying double-header last month due to injury, while his younger teammate has not featured since Euro 2012 last summer.
Henderson has, however, played every single minute of his club's Barclays Premier League campaign in 2013-14.
Reds pair Steven Gerrard and Daniel Sturridge have also been selected by manager Roy Hodgson for the fixtures on November 15 and 19 respectively.
The England squad in full is: Fraser Forster, Joe Hart, John Ruddy; Leighton Baines, Gary Cahill, Ashley Cole, Kieran Gibbs, Phil Jagielka, Glen Johnson, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Kyle Walker; Ross Barkley, Michael Carrick, Tom Cleverley, Steven Gerrard, Jordan Henderson, Adam Lallana, Frank Lampard, James Milner, Andros Townsend, Jack Wilshere; Jermain Defoe, Rickie Lambert, Jay Rodriguez, Wayne Rooney, Daniel Sturridge, Daniel Welbeck.
Meanwhile, Raheem Sterling and on-loan Jack Robinson are in the England U21 squad for the European Championship qualifiers with Finland at MK Dons FC (November 14) and San Marino at Shrewsbury Town (November 19). England U21 captain Andre Wisdom misses out through suspension.
