Adam Morgan's incredible, long-range strike for Liverpool U21s against Manchester City has been voted as EA SPORTS Goal of the Month for September by the club's supporters.

The 19-year-old collected possession just inside the opposition half, shimmied beyond his marker and unleashed a pinpoint missile of a finish over the goalkeeper and perfectly into the top corner.

With more than 6,000 votes cast in our online poll during the past week, Morgan's screamer picked up 48 per cent of the vote to finish ahead of first-team trio Victor Moses, Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez.

Sturridge, who received the prize in August, finished second this time for his winner over Manchester United, while Moses' debut strike past Swansea City secured third place.

Each of Suarez's efforts on his Barclays Premier League return at Sunderland rounded out the top five, with his second strike narrowly outdoing his first in the opinion of Reds' fans.
