Ladies eye final spot
Liverpool Ladies hope to bounce back from their Arsenal setback when they take on Lincoln Ladies in the Continental Cup semi-final at the Halton Stadium on Wednesday night.
Kick-off on Wednesday night is at 7.30pm BST and the ladies welcome any new support.
The 3-0 home defeat by the Gunners at the weekend saw Matt Beard's side drop to second place in the Women's Super League table after Bristol's win at Everton on Sunday.
The Reds travel to Bristol in a mouth-watering fixture on Sunday but before they can start thinking about that game, the semi-final now takes priority.
Beard's side reached the Women's FA Cup semi-final this season only to lose 2-1 to Arsenal at Anfield, so they are hoping to go one better against Lincoln on Wednesday night.
Liverpool won 1-0 away at Lincoln in their opening league game in what was a close affair, and it is a tie that could go either way.
