Middlesbrough woe for U18s
It was a frustrating day for Liverpool U18s who lost 4-1 at Middlesbrough on Saturday afternoon.
Jakub Sokolik netted for Mike Marsh's side but a succession of missed chances cost the Reds dear.
Marsh told Liverpoolfc.tv: "It was never a 4-1 game to be honest. We didn't defend as well as we can but they had four chances and scored from them.
"We created enough chances to have won the game but it was just one of those days."
Liverpool team: Belford, McLaughlin, Regan, Rafferty, Sokolik, Baio (Hatch 45), Ibe (Nacho 60), Dunn, Morgan, Peterson, Lussey.
