Chelsea's defenders were more accurate in the pass than Liverpool's, with Ashley Cole (91.2 per cent) and Terry (90.6 per cent) finding their teammates most consistently. Daniel Agger was the best passer among our back four with an accuracy of 85.3 per cent.

In midfield, it was a tale of two Brazilians in terms of accuracy. Ramires found a blue shirt with 91.4 per cent of his passes. Lucas Leiva was Liverpool's most precise midfielder on 88.6 per cent.

It was two forwards who topped the accuracy table among starters for their respective sides. Mata played more passes than any other forward on the pitch (45) and they reached their target on 95.6 per cent of occasions. Bellamy was the most accurate of Liverpool's starters with 88.9 per cent of passes completed.

Johnson drew the most fouls for Liverpool (three) and Dirk Kuyt prompted the most whistles (three).

Liverpool won 54.9 per cent of 'duels' - though it was Chelsea who prevailed in the aerial battle (66.7 per cent).
