In our latest starlet in profile interview, we speak to Stephen Sama ahead of this afternoon's Barclays Premier Reserve League North clash at home to Bolton.

The Germany youth international has continued to make great strides since arriving from Borussia Dortmund back in 2009 and enjoyed a brief cameo for the first-team during a 3-3 draw with Valerenga in pre-season.

Here he tells us who he hates facing in training, why he looks up to Jamie Carragher and who has creative licence with his iPod.

Who would win at 'skill skool'?

Raheem Sterling. I'd put him up against Craig Roddan but I think Raheem would win comfortably. He's so difficult to mark in training and when we play four on four he's just too tricky to stop.

If you could holiday anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I don't have much time for going on holiday! If I was going to pick a break I would go to somewhere like China or America. It'd need to be somewhere I've never been.

Last album downloaded?

I don't download music. I just give my iPod to Matty McGiveron and get him to update it for me! He is our dressing room DJ and the man who has all of the latest tunes. If you really want to know what my latest album is you'd have to ask him!

Last film watched?

I watched The Town with Ben Affleck. It was worth seeing.

Favourite TV show?

To be honest I just watch Sky Sports. Any football show and I'm happy.

Worst dresser?

He's one of my best friends but I'll still have to say Toni Silva. He has some strange combinations.

Worst taste in music?

That's hard to say. I don't get involved in the choice of music. I'll say Toni Silva but only because he'll laugh at it!

Best moment in football so far?

Being with the first-team for the pre-season match in Norway. That was a great experience for me and having that brief taste has made me even more determined.

Worst or most embarrassing moment relating to football...

It would be when I've seen a player die on the football pitch. I've only seen it on TV but it has a massive impact on you. It is so sad and takes months for you to forget about it. I remember when Marc Vivien Foe passed away, it was so upsetting. This should never happen on a football pitch.

Which three teammates would be the most useful to get trapped on a desert island with - and why?

Michael Ngoo, Toni Silva and Andre Wisdom. They are all so funny and I have become really good friends with them. We would have a laugh even if we were stuck out there for a long time!

If you could take one of the lads to have their haircut, who would it be?

I would like to shave all of Toni Silva's hair off. He would you look better with a skinhead!

Teammate who spends longest in the mirror?

Hmm (long pause). Maybe Suso.

Best ever player in your position?

I have always liked William Gallas but since coming here I've looked up to Jamie Carragher. He has given me some great advice and been a real inspiration to me. He's a fantastic defender.

Best thing about playing for Liverpool FC?

Just being here is incredible. Liverpool are one of the biggest teams in the world and I feel so proud to be here.

And just finally, the reserves play Bolton today - it's important to build upon the win over Chelsea, isn't it?

We played really well against Chelsea and got our first league win which was important. Now we need to build on that and get a positive result today. We having been working really hard in training and I think the lads are starting to get their reward in matches.
