Ladies lose to give Arsenal the title
Liverpool Ladies ended the inaugural Women's Super League season with a 3-1 defeat to newly crowned champions Arsenal.
Katie Brussell found the net for the Reds but a brace from Rachel Yankey and a penalty conversion by Kim Little handed the Gunners the title.
Liverpool will now aim for a better showing in the Continental Cup after finishing the season bottom of the league.
