In our first starlet in profile interview of the new season we spoke to Krisztian Adorjan about tonight's NextGen Series opener against Sporting Lisbon.

The Hungarian playmaker enjoyed a scintillating campaign with the U18s last term, notching nine goals and 19 assists.

The 18-year-old is regarded as a player with a big future by the coaching staff in Kirkby and will be eager to make a similar impact with the second-string this time around.

Here he tells us why he is at odds with Michael Roberts' fashion sense, who he rates as the finest attacker ever and why he'd love to buy Suso a haircut.

Who would win on 'skill skool'?

I think it would be Raheem Sterling. I don't know how to describe all of the tricks he could do in English but he would do things like step overs (mimics step overs with his feet) and tip tapping. He is very skilful.

If you could holiday anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I'd say Dubai... No, wait a minute... Bali. I like the little huts and the hot climate.

Last album downloaded?

I didn't download it myself, my friend did it for me. It was some album with a lot of house music on it.

Last film watched?

Rise of the Planet of the Apes. It was very good.

Favourite TV show?

Prison Break. It was great viewing and always left you wanting more.

Worst dresser?

(Laughs). I'll say Michael Roberts because he would say me! He doesn't like my style and I don't like his. It's hard to describe what he wears. It's just different to mine!

Worst taste in music?

(Long pause). Toni Silva. He listens to all sorts but there are some strange Portuguese tunes in there. Not the best.

Best mate in the squad?

I have a lot of good friends. I probably speak to Adam (Hajdu) more than anyone, mainly because he is Hungarian. But I get on well with everyone. Suso, Matty McGiveron, Craig Roddan - they are all good lads.

Worst or most embarrassing moment relating to football?

I went away with the national team to play Denmark in two friendly games in quick succession. We lost both of them 5-1 and 4-3. Two days and two defeats. It wasn't an enjoyable experience and the trip home was very, very quiet.

Which teammates would you least like to introduce to your parents?

I wouldn't have a problem with anyone meeting them. I'd be happy for all of the reserves to see them because they are all great lads.

If you could take one of the lads to have their haircut, who would it be?

Suso. He tries to style it far too much. It's everywhere and he spends too much time on it! He should get it all cut off!

Teammate who spends longest in the mirror?

Well, I could say Suso after my last answer but I'm going to say Nathan Eccleston. He's there for a long time after training.

Best ever player in your position?

I'll pick two out. I'll say our first-team boss, Kenny Dalglish and Zinedine Zidane. I always loved watching Zizou and have seen some DVDs of our manager and he was a fantastic footballer.

Best thing about playing for LFC?

It is one the biggest clubs in the world. When I was growing up at home in Hungary I always supported Liverpool. When I heard they wanted to sign me I was obviously very happy and grateful. It's a dream come true for me to be here.

And finally, a quick word on tonight's game against Sporting Lisbon...

I am really looking forward to the Sporting game. It will be a great experience and hopefully we can win. Playing at Anfield will be brilliant. This tournament is a great opportunity to show we have a good squad at Liverpool and we will do everything to get as far as possible. Rodolfo (Borrell) has told us that Sporting are a good side with a strong Academy. But we are too so it makes for a good game.
