LFC Foundation to host girls' football tournament
LFC Foundation is hosting a free football tournament for local girls this month in celebration of the recent FIFA Women's World Cup.
The seven-a-side competition takes place at Anfield Sports and Community Centre on Friday August 16 and is open to girls of any ability aged between 14 and 16 years old.
Official junior clubs or just groups of friends who enjoy playing together are welcome to enter, however each team must have a minimum of seven and a maximum of 10 players.
