The LFC Foundation recently hosted a Premier League Primary Stars session at Croxteth Primary School – and you can see how an enjoyable afternoon unfolded in our free video.

The pupils underwent a PSHE lesson put on by the club’s community coaches and were joined by a surprise guest in the form of Reds’ mascot, Mighty Red.

One of the key themes of the session was ‘resilience’ – and you can discover what else the children learnt in the video below.

Premier League Primary Stars is a national curriculum-linked education programme that uses the appeal of the Premier League and professional football clubs to inspire children to learn, be active and develop important life skills. 'Resilience' is just one of many sessions that forms a part of the programme.

Primary Stars provides free downloadable resources which are available for teachers across Key Stages 1 and 2 in English, Maths, PE and PSHE and add to the existing support that clubs in the Premier League and beyond are providing on a daily basis to primary schools and their local communities.
