Anfield paid its respects on Remembrance Sunday with a minute's silence before kick-off against Fulham.

A century on from the end of World War I, the Liverpool players wore shirts embroidered with poppies for the Premier League match which will be signed and donated to the Royal British Legion to auction and raise funds for the Poppy Appeal.

Having observed the traditional two-minute silence at 11am GMT, the stadium paused to reflect again in the moments ahead of kick-off.
