Exeter City have printed a special 96-page matchday programme for Friday’s FA Cup third-round tie against Liverpool in honour of those who lost their lives at the Hillsborough disaster.

‘The Grecian’ is traditionally 82 pages in length; however, the club have decided to add an extra 10 pages as a mark of respect for the 96 people who lost their lives at the 1989 FA Cup semi-final.

Fans can pick up a copy of this special programme from tickets booths and around St James Park on the night of the game.

Oliver Roderick, Exeter City media manager, said: “This was always going to be a larger edition and we couldn’t think of a more fitting tribute then making it 96 pages.

“We have already received huge orders for it.”
