The Liverpool FC Legends squad out in Sydney sought to put a smile on the faces of local young people affected by cancer by visiting the CanTeen charity on Wednesday.

CanTeen offers support, advice, counselling and specialist treatment to those aged between 12 and 24 who either suffer from the illness or whose lives have been impacted by it.

The team of former Reds currently in Australia for a match on Thursday broke away from their nearby preparations to make a special visit to the organisation’s Sydney division.

Steven Gerrard and co met a number of young people involved with CanTeen, posed for photographs, signed memorabilia, donated gifts and took part in a fun-filled live Q&A.
