Watch: Members get LFC experience of a lifetime
The benefits of becoming an LFC Official Member have rarely been more obvious than when a group of lucky competition winners recently met their Liverpool heroes as part of an incredible day spent at Melwood and Anfield.
A VIP experience that money cannot buy was the prize on offer to Members earlier this year, with a rare opportunity to meet and then watch the Reds first team train.
To begin, the fortunate few – who simply had to enter their details at our Members’ Area for the chance to win – were transported from Anfield to Melwood to go behind the scenes and meet and greet the players before they went out for training.
The lucky winners then had the rare opportunity to watch the players train and examine how they prepare for their matches.
And there was even more to come too, with a return to the stadium, a Centenary Stand Tour and a visit to the Liverpool FC Story providing further memories to last a lifetime.
Lunch at the Boot Room Sports Cafe was capped off by the arrival of Reds legend Phil Neal, the club’s most decorated player with eight league titles and four European Cups, to chat with the Members and share stories of his career.
