Community football coaches from the Liverpool FC Foundation delighted the locals of Cookstown, Northern Ireland, when they paid a special visit to deliver a week-long summer soccer clinic.

Six coaches delivered special coaching sessions to over 150 young people aged between five and 16-years-old.

The annual event conducted by the Foundation aims to help young people and fans in Northern Ireland to build confidence, self-esteem and raise aspirations.

These soccer clinics, which are part of the Foundation’s International programme, provides fun and inclusive football coaching sessions to young children across the globe.

Head of the Liverpool FC Foundation, Andrea Cooper said: “It’s great to see the kids working one-on-one with the coaches and learning how to improve their football techniques.

“Our goal is to inspire children to pursue their aspirations whether athletic, academic or personal.”
