A group of 20 lucky Teen Members recently won the chance to spend a day in the life of an Academy player with LFC Official Membership.

The exclusive ‘Be the Player’ experience included a look around the facilities used by the Reds’ upcoming youngsters at the dedicated complex in Kirkby.

There was an opportunity to watch those players close up in training, plus expert advice from the dietician who works with them daily to offer insight on the ideal foods to eat as a footballer.

Radio City and LFCTV’s Steve Hothersall conducted media training with the Teen Members, explaining how to handle the press if you make it in the professional game.

The lucky competition winners also got to spend some time with the Liverpool U18s team, talking tactics and more in a special Q&A session.

Then it was their time to shine on the field, putting into practice everything they had learned on the day by training on the Academy pitches with LFC International Academy coaches.

Continuing a memorable day, the youngsters then enjoyed executive travel back to Anfield and heard from Mike Yates about his development alongside Michael Owen and Steven Gerrard.

And to cap it off, they were treated to a Stadium Viewing Tour and a look at the club’s history at the interactive museum The Liverpool FC Story, featuring the new Steven Gerrard Collection.

Check out some of the highlights in the photo gallery below, and if you would like the chance to win once-in-a-lifetime prizes like this then join LFC Official Membership now.
