The manager’s message to fans attending the game tomorrow?

“Be as loud as you can!”

LFC chairman Tom Werner...

“As we stand here in the shadow of this phenomenal new structure, it is easy to take in the scale of what has been achieved. For John, Linda, Mike and me, this project has been about understanding Liverpool Football Club to its core. Staying here at Anfield is critical to maintaining the special feeling that separates our club from equally illustrious rivals.”

Chief executive officer Ian Ayre is now addressing those in attendance at the stadium. He begins by thanking all of the key parties who have made the 'vision' of the Main Stand expansion a 'reality'.

“I’m really impressed. The result is absolutely fantastic. Stunning is the word.” – Roy Evans

Special guests are now arriving at Anfield for today’s event – including the likes of Sami Hyypia, Gary McAllister, Robbie Fowler, Margaret Aspinall, Jamie Carragher, Ian Rush and Kenny Dalglish.

Klopp's verdict…

“The first time I saw the new stand, I thought ‘Wow!’ I couldn’t imagine it would look like this after the Chelsea game [in May]. It’s really great and a big step for the club. Everybody who is there on Saturday can really look forward to it. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a stand like this. With the roof, I’m sure it’s good for the atmosphere.”

The manager and the owners have just been out on the pitch for a walk around, with principal owner John Henry and chairman Tom Werner soaking up the altered sights of the stadium.

We'll be hearing from them shortly.

Where it all started...

"It's amazing," says former Liverpool defender Phil Babb as our live show gets underway from Anfield. "I can't imagine what the noise is going to be like."
