The attendees of the October LFC International Academy Soccer School were recently treated to a surprise visit from Reds attacker Sadio Mane.
As well as meeting the Senegal international, the lucky attendees also took part in an action-packed three days of coaching sessions at the LFC Academy.
Mane spent the afternoon with the kids answering a wide range of questions from who his hero was when he was growing up to why he copies his teammates celebrations when Liverpool score. Mane also focused on what it takes to become a professional player and most importantly how to play the Liverpool way.
Programme Manager, Alan Moogan commented: ‘It was fantastic for the young players to be able to meet Sadio Mane on our recent course. He talked to the participants about life as a Liverpool player and also passed on some really valuable advice for these youngsters just starting out in the game. We’ve had a brilliant three days on this programme at the Academy and are looking forward to our next one in February.’
