Liverpool starlet’s fond memories of Scandinavia course
Original Publish Date - 16th February 2018
LFC International Academy Scandinavia has been given a positive reference by current Liverpool Academy striker Edvard Tagseth.
Tagseth is currently part of Steven Gerrard’s under-18 squad but recalls the time he spent with LFC IA Scandinavia back in 2011.
He attended summer holiday courses, along with his older brother and a close friend, and still fondly remembers the enjoyment of taking part in such an authentic LFC experience.
Edvard said: “The courses were really good. I am a massive Liverpool FC supporter so to get coaching from official LFC Academy coaches as such a young age was a fantastic experience for me.
“The sessions were really enjoyable, technical sessions which are quite similar to those that we receive down at the Academy. We used to play a lot of small sided games (3 v 3’s) which is very similar to what we do now with the U18 team.
“I would definitely recommend the sessions as they were really enjoyable as well as being a very high standard of coaching.”
LFC’s International Academy delivers courses around the world following the LFC curriculum and is delivered by LFC coaches. Places are now available on LFC International Academy Scandinavia courses throughout 2018.
