HonoursWomen's Super League titles
2013, 2014
Liverpool FC Women have claimed the Women’s Super League title on two occasions in their history.
Each of those triumphs came while playing under the team’s previous name of Liverpool FC Ladies, and both during Matt Beard’s first spell as manager.
In 2013, the Reds won 12 of their 14 fixtures and amassed 36 points, with victory over runners-up Bristol City on the final day of the campaign securing the club’s first championship success.
Natasha Dowie, LFC Women’s top goalscorer in the WSL era, ended the season as the division’s leading scorer having netted 12 times.
Beard’s charges made it back-to-back title triumphs in 2014 after an incredibly dramatic final day in the WSL that saw Liverpool retain the trophy via goal difference at the expense of Chelsea after the two teams were left level on 26 points from 14 matches.
The Reds beat Bristol City 3-0 to sensationally jump from third to first on the last day of the season, with Birmingham City a point further back in third place.
