LFC FoundationSeason Goals And Supporting Schools Across Liverpool City Region
As term time commences, our delivery teams are set for another year of delivering programmes across Liverpool City Region.
Last season we worked with 145 schools, delivering an average of 200 sessions per week for school children across the city.
Young people who worked with our coaches accessed:
- High quality maths, literacy and PSHE
- Football and multisport festivals
- Social action, female empowerment and allyship education
- Fun extra-curricular clubs
We also provided support for teachers with their continuing professional development.
Gemma Smith, Head of Programmes, said “Back to school is such an exciting time at LFC Foundation and the young people, families and teachers that we work with.”
“Our coaching team have been out in the community delivering Big Red Summer but now we’re back in classrooms, on playing fields and football pitches supporting local schools and school children with their physical, social and health education.”
“Our goal is to inspire and empower the next generation of young people to achieve their goals.”
