Matt Beard’s squad took a first look at their new permanent home last week and LFC Foundation organised the event to display their commitment to supporting the women’s team and their move to Melwood.

Families from the local area were welcomed in to the training centre and joined by women’s team stars Jenna Clarke and Leanne Kiernan for the event!

There was a range of activities on offer for all ages, including football darts, bubble football, arts and crafts, wellbeing activities and much more.

The young supporters were also given the chance to meet Mighty Red, while there were opportunities to get their faces painted, take part in balloon modelling as well as visit the music tent.

LFC Foundation will be hosting a selection of programmes from Melwood going forward for local residents to get involved with and more details on this will be confirmed in due course.
