Big Red Summer

Get ready for an awesome Big Red Summer with the LFC Foundation & SC Johnson

We have once again teamed up with Club partner SC Johnson for another year of Big Red Summer to get young people & families active and to learn the benefits of sustainability.

We're calling all on Reds who come to our sessions across the summer to do your part and reduce, reuse, and recycle.

Plastic pollution is a global issue, so we're encouraging people to reuse where they can and reduce the amount of plastic waste in our environment.

From July to the end of August, we've got so many football and multisport camps that young people can get involved with, as well as our big summer festival walk in Norris Green Park on Saturday 5th August.

Last year, over 7,500 took part in sessions in parks, opens spaces, community centres, sports halls and football pitches across the Liverpool City Region and the aim is to do it all over again, even bigger and better.

Big Red Summer

Throughout our Big Red Summer, SC Johnson are challenging LFC fans to come with sessions with a reusable water bottle to help reduce plastic waste across the community.

SC Johnson and LFC are working together as part of the club’s sustainability initiative - The Red Way, to reduce waste by 10% across the season, play your part on making the world a better place!

The Foundation have also teamed up with MyLFC. If you’re a member, then look out for opportunities to earn 100 points by attending any of the Foundation activities across the summer!
